Volunteering Opportunity: Dignity Disclosure Officers
In response to results from the Staff Survey and as part of our commitment to improving the support we provide staff and students, we are recruiting volunteers to act as Dignity Disclosure Officers (DDO’s) at QMUL.
Dignity Disclosure Officers will be trained to provide confidential support to individuals who may be experiencing difficulties relating to harassment and/or bullying. They will provide guidance on the range of options and support open to the individual. They will take a sympathetic and neutral role to complaints or concerns.
All individuals appointed to the role will be committing to giving an average of 1-2 hours a month to the role in addition to attending all training provided as well as three to four network meetings per year.

Full training and pastoral support will be available to successful candidates. A full day training session will take place late January or early February 2018.
Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 10th of November 2017. Therefore, completed forms should be returned by email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 12 midnight on the 10th November 2017.
