QMUL Recruitment Process

You have been directed here because you either:

  1. Selected a scenario where the status has already been determined for you that the person you are looking to engage will be classed as "employed"

    or

  2. completed the Quick HMRC questionnaire, with the outcome being that the person you are looking to engage will be classed as "employed"

    or

  3. you completed the HMRC Employment Status Indicator questionnaire, with the outcome being that the person you are looking to engage will be classed as "employed".

In this case, you need to follow the QMUL Recruitment Process as outlined below to engage the person as an employee, with the main steps listed below.

  • Establish you have a vacancy
  • Plan the filling of this vacancy
  • Access QMUL’s e-recruitment system
  • Add a new position
  • Upload supporting documents
  • Request approval
  • Manage applications and shortlisting
  • Conduct interviews and assessment
  • Make an offer and finalise a contract
  • Offer authorisation
