USS Consultation Update

Colleagues are reminded that the consultation on the proposals for change to the USS pension scheme is on-going until 22 May. The USS Consultation website - https://www.ussconsultation.co.uk- is now fully up and running and includes a video providing an overview of the proposals, a Question and Answer section and, importantly, a benefit modeller which individual scheme members can use to understand the effect that the current proposals would mean for them.
We appreciate that it is important that individual members of staff understand what the proposals may mean for them so if, having reviewed the consultation website, you still have further questions you can contact our pensions team with a particular question or arrange to meet with one of the Pensions Officers by emailing pension@qmul.ac.uk to arrange an appointment to speak in person.
