Make way for the Electronic P60 from MyHR

Published:

Queen Mary, University of London is introducing electronic P60s following changes made to PAYE regulations by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). For the 2011/2012 tax year (ending April 2012) onwards, the College will provide staff, receiving their payslips via MyHR, with an electronic P60 instead of a paper-based form.

There are several benefits to electronic P60s. Most notably, it gives staff easy and secure online access to their P60 through MyHR. This is particularly useful for staff who need a copy of their P60 when completing a tax return. Switching to electronic P60s will also save over £1,000 per year in the cost of printing.

In order to view your P60 online, please log into MyHR then navigate to the ‘Pay Documents' area of the system. For further information on electronic P60s and electronic payslips please see the guidance notes, which can be found at http://www.hr.qmul.ac.uk/ehr/myhr/P60s/

If you have any questions please contact HR reception on email humanresources@qmul.ac.uk or call ext. 3697
