Operations Team

The HR Operations team is your first point of contact within HR. It is divided into teams, which are responsible for specific sectors within the College. Within each sector a Consultancy team of an HR Consultant and HR Advisers offers service and support to you on complex work-related matters typically grievance, discipline, restructuring, organisational change and performance management issues. They work alongside an HR Services Team who handle all Operational HR and payroll transactional matters.

 

The role of the Operations Team is:

To provide high quality professional advice and guidance on performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters

To work with managers guiding and coaching them to handle the staffing implications of organisational change

To provide via the HR Services team an efficient and effective transactional HR and Payroll service including issuing contracts of employment, advertising, probation administration, maternity leave.

To build effective working relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders to ensure the best standards of service and support.

To administer staff pensions, payroll and the College's HR policies and procedures such as the HR Codes of Practice.

To support and develop the Human Resources and Payroll System in line with the College's HR Strategy, and provide appropriate management information.
