Wellbeing Fayre

Queen Mary University of London is committed to providing a healthy working environment and improving the quality of working lives for all our staff.

The ultimate goal of the Wellbeing Fayre is to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of our university staff and students, to prevent work associated ill health and for the overall benefit of staff/students and the organisation.

The third and final Wellbeing Fayre for 2017 is being held at the QMUL Mile End site.

This is going to be a very exciting event for all. There will be something for everyone at the Wellbeing Fayre including mini health checks, mini refreshments and prizes.

At 13:00hrs Laura Gibbs will give a speech on the importance of wellbeing.

We have two external speakers:  Remploy who will be talking about mental health at work and ASPIeRATION who will talk about supporting employees with Dyspraxia.

Professional Development will do a bite size talk on Resilience.

For those of you who are feeling active there will be table tennis, an exercise bike and if you prefer to participate in something at a slower pace, there will be a Yoga session.

All thirsty work I know.  To quench your appetite, there will be a juicing demonstrations provided by our catering department.

In addition to this, there will be a host of stalls to visit. 

To conclude the day there will be a draw for the raffle.

1st prize- Virgin Experience up to the value of £100
2nd prize-Virgin Experience up to the value of £50
3rd prize- Healthy Hamper
